    Perfect!

Llegó muy rápido, ya antes había comprado el mismo producto y funcionan bien. Este nuevo aún no lo pruebo pero el paquete llegó dañado, espero esto no afecte el funcionamiento del producto.

This is a fantastic heating mat. I love that it has the digital temperatures that I can see for my geckos container. The mat heats up pretty quick and you can adjust it to whatever temperatures you need. I just ordered the small one and I stuck it on the bottom of my cage works perfect.

I read lots of mixed reviews on this before purchasing. It does not heat the entire tank, or air in the tank. It heats the glass and *small* area near wherever you put it. The thermometer in my tank has not changed since using this, it was 70 degrees before and is still 70 degrees. But, my hermit crabs have migrated over to the side of the tank where I placed it so I know they can feel the heat off of it in that area. Also, when I place my hand near that part of the tank I feel the heat myself. I will continue to use it for the time being until I find something better. It also tajes quite some time to heat up to the degree you set it to, I chose 85 degrees and it is rarely at 85 when I check it. It’s normally at 81-82. Also, I saw some complaints about the stickiness of the product. In my opinion the stickiness is great and hard to remove the product once it’s placed. It states in the instructions not to remove it after placing because it will lose stickiness. So I think that speaks for itself if you read instructions first.

Seems to be work -ok but not great.
The sticky side that would allow you to heat the tank from the outside in did not stay attached to the bottom glass of the atrium.
Not a huge deal but I was trying to keep the wiring inside the cage to a minimum
After reading a bunch of reviews about the sizing and how multi pad caught fire/&or smoking due to there being kinks in the pad (maybe they had it folded in half 🤷🏼‍♀️)because of these reviews I ended up purchasing 2 of the smaller pad. There not bad (just extra wiring 💇🏼‍♀️) if I could redo it I would 100% got the larger size.
All in all we like the they help keep Chillys tank warm

Good little heat pads, and the only thing I wish is that the adhesive pads could arrive separated from the pad (with peel-off sticky back) so that if we don’t want adhesive we can skip it. The other thing I’d love is a set of marks around the dial so that we can get a sense of where the best setting is, and later repeat that by looking at the dial marks.
I used two pads on either side of the interior of a small plastic cooler to make an egg incubator. Using two pads, one on each side, allows for more even heat within the makeshift incubator. I like these pads and likely will buy another set of them as a backup for the future.

Actually using this to de-ice my satellite internet device.

I thought I was buying a heating pad, basically what you’re buying is a controller that comes with a free heating pad. I can’t believe the price of this, I would expect at least $50. Especially considering that it is for pet use.

It is a temperature controller, displays current temp inside tank, and has a separate permanently wired temp sensor that sticks to the inside of the tank with a suction cup. The suction cup works very well, even after repeated removals. The heating pad plugs in separately to a 110v plug on the controller. You can use any 110v device, I would only recommend using a heater or heat lamp though lol. I suppose you could wire it into a stereo, and when the temperature gets above your set point it starts playing Jimi Hendrix. The problem with that, is you then have to figure out whether or not your reptile is more of a country fan, or a rock fan..

The heating pad is completely covered with adhesive on one side for sticking to OUTSIDE of the tank.

It’s a lot larger than I expected, although I didn’t look too see what size I was buying – I just expected smaller.

The instructions say multiple times to place on the outside of the tank, so be aware of that. Also, it is absolutely not supposed to be placed on wood or anything other than glass, according to the instructions, so be aware of that.

After reading the instructions, and being aware of that, I decided to just set it under the tank, on top of wood. It wasn’t even real wood. It was crap particle board. Maybe the glue in the particle board increased its thermal properties, but I doubt it. I think it’s more probable that the heating pad doesn’t get hot enough to catch wood on fire.

I didn’t stick it to the tank because we are replacing the tank in a month. I then decided to move the tank and stick it to the side of the tank temporarily, so I removed a half inch or so (ended up being about an inch) of the adhesive backing all the way around the edge of the heating pad and stuck it to the glass so that I can remove it, and the rest of the adhesive is unused for the new tank.

If this is not an absolute permanent fixture on your tank, I would advise sticking it to the tank using only a little bit of the adhesive (by removing small sections of at the adhesive backing to expose only small areas of adhesive). You will never get this off the tank in reusable condition if you use the entire adhesive sheet. I probably exposed too much adhesive. It’s going to be a pain when I go to remove it.

Lo conecté en cuanto lo recibí y no calentó en el centro. Solo los extramos en puntos muy pequeños.

  11. Mumma Leigh

Easy to set and change temperature setting, very reliable.

  12. Astright

Surprised it worked for a tiny, plastic betta bowl. Not too hot but warms well.

Lo ocupo para gecko leopardo. Simplemente ajustas la temperatura que necesitas en grados C o F. Y te olvidas de tener que estar monitreando la temperatura. Altamente recomendado
