This chain eventually broke on me, but considering that I needed something way stronger, it was a pretty good product. It was used for something that I really needed a stronger chain for, but put this one on in a pinch. It held up well for the most part.

So far so good! I have several gates on my farm and I’m always in the market for chains that can stand the crazy humid weather here in Kentucky. So far, I see no signs of rust and the snaps have also held up very well with a little lubricant for good measure. I would definitely purchase these again.

I appreciate these chains. I use them on my large wooden gate during high winds to keep the gate from flying open. I have a wooden bar with metal L bars, but the wind gets so strong that it actually bends the metal bar. So these chains are very useful and I like that they are rust proofed. Now I have to see how they work for the long term.
