Maryland winters are cold but do not usually have a lot of snow. Even so, we worried about the little birds in our yard, so we bought this bird seed after reading the reviews. The birds really do like it a lot, and if we don’t put it out fast enough to suit them, we get a lot of birds on the railings and the porch making a racket, and looking for their food! We don’t have a bird feeder yet, so we have been putting it on the railings and the posts, or in an old pie pan. They scold until we go away, and then converge to dine al fresco. They, are such a pretty and joyous entertainment for our family. We love watching them, and they love eating this seed. They’re happy and so are we.

My birds love this stuff and always seem to have someone on and someone waiting for an empty perch .

The birds go nuts over this stuff, no pun intended. My bird feeder becomes a veritable popping night club when I put this food out rather than their usual stuff. The squirrels love it too, but they all seem to share equitably, so I don’t mind the squirrels getting some too. This is my go-to when I want to have a good bird-watching day.

The birds love this stuff! It attracts various finches (red and yellow), doves, titmice, chickadees, juncos, and more. Easy to use. Good value. Must taste good to the birds.

The product seems decent but the damaged packaging will lead me to only buy from my local bird seed store where I may pay a little more but I can guarantee that the seed I am purchasing is handled with care and therefore not wasted.

I really want to give this 5 stars. My birds and squirrels absolutely love this stuff. I’m not joking when I say that squirrels literally chewed a hole through my screen door and ventured deep into my home to access my bag of this seed while I was at work. The reason I caution you is this. The last two times I’ve ordered this has not gone particularly well. The first of those two attempts, my package was delayed for multiple days without any reason presented. When I finally got my package, everything seemed fine when I opened it, but the box of contact lens fluid that was also in the same package was filled with birdseed and there was evidence that the bag had been resealed. The second time, I was tracking my delivery on the Amazon app. It was 10 stops away and a few hours later I was issued a refund. The next morning when I left for work, the courtyard of my apartment complex was covered in birdseed from where the bags again ripped open during delivery.
In conclusion: Great product. My wild animal friends vastly prefer it over everything else I’ve given them. But I’ve only had 1 successful delivery out of 3 orders because the bag it’s in does not survive the shipping and delivery process.

I love feeding the Cardinals and the Blue Jays, as well as the doves and all the other variety of wood Peckers and what not to come to the house. This bird seed seems to be eating almost entirely as opposed to having a lot left in the bottom. It’s worth the price because they actually get to eat it all and they love it, so do I.
