We’ve had several pet pill shooters, but this one was by far and away the best! We have a cat that has to be medicated several times a day and this one works really well, even for a cat who HATES taking pills!

Lifesaver (or at least finger saver) for giving our cat pills. This product is soft, sturdy and gets the pill way back in the mouth. Use is quick and makes the process so much easier for both us and our pet. Holds pills securely at the tip.

Small pills fall from the dispenser

It’s a pill dropper. Not popper. It drops it, and not where you want it to. Do not recommend

As a first time pet owner who had never given medication to a pet and had to prepare her kitty for a very long car ride, this worked perfectly. I put a smear his favorite lick treat on the pill and it went easily down the hatch. Kitty then got the rest of the lick packet to make sure the pill made it to its final destination. Couldn’t be easier. Full disclosure: I waffled on the price, but decided to give it a whirl, as I liked the idea of the soft silicone tips.

My cat Albert is 13 and was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure, for which the medication the vet put him on remedies. After dealing with a pill cutter for a few weeks, I transitioned to getting teeny pills from the compounding pharmacy Mixlab. The pill pocket method went quickly downhill (Albert ate them at first, then once spit a pill out, and after that would not touch one of them again). So I got this. The mini-pill fits perfectly into the silicone tip. I put the kitty in a knee-lock, open his mouth, quickly put the applicator toward the back of his throat, press, done.

Seems to be great product but my Deer Head Chihuahua hates it and puts up a terrific battle when I try to use it.

I LOOOOOVE this pet piller. Been using it for years. I tell everyone I know about it and give them the link. LOL The design of being able to hold it with your hand and and shoot it with your thumb instead of holding it between fingers like a syringe makes a HUGE difference in ease of use. The only bad part is that the silicone tip doesn’t accommodate larger pills that you might have to give a medium or large dog, but it works great for cat and small dog pills. Dogs are often fine with pill pockets, though, so no biggie. I have bought several of these so I can have a spare if one breaks or I give one away. LOL The soft silicone nib is perfect for easing into cat mouths without scraping their teeth or gums. HIGHLY recommended. I hope they never stop making this thing.
