Very durable strong velcro for securing boots. Ordered second pair to rotate and keep clean.

I have a horse who suffers from habronemiasis / summer sores and also happens to be super accident prone. I’ve been trying to protect the nicks and rubs on his legs from the flies and was at my wit’s end before I found these leggings. I can’t believe how well they work, not to mention the fact that my horse hasn’t destroyed them yet! The largest size fits his tree trunk legs perfectly and they haven’t caused any rubs or sore spots on his skin. So much less fly stomping, which is also helping keep his hooves in better shape. He occasionally manages to rip one off with his teeth, but no major damage to the leggings so far. I’m not sure that they’ll last a year, since he’s super hard on all his gear, but it’s less expensive than another vet visit for habronema!

These are durable and don’t slip down or cause irritation of the skin

They are the best fly boots for horses that I have found so far! They stay up! Such a simple design!

Exactly what I was looking for. Quick shipping. Would definitely buy again.

My blacksmith highly recommended these boots, which seemed oddly shaped at first and expensive for what they are. She was right, though, they work! A bit of a learning curve to get them to fit just right, they are well worth the effort. My soft-soled gelding who is abscess prone stomps much less, avoiding the need for shoes and making him far more comfortable than any short-acting fly spray. It’s a winner for me.

My horse keeps them on, and the flys stay off his legs. No stomping. Better yet they are durable and have lasted the whole season, sometimes longer. Have owned several pairs over the years. They work!

My horse lives in pasture 24/7. These stay up which I am amazed. However, they do not last long. I have had them for 2 months and the need to be replaced in the next few weeks. Ifbhe was turned out, had a stall, they would last twice as long I am sure.
The velcro is insanely strong. You need to make sure they are put on correctly.
I do take them off daily. I hose them off regularly. I would not recommend you leave them on and not check your horse at least every two days.
Theae are the only fly leg guards that are used at our barn. They WORK!

They seem to be holding up well, but yesterday I arrived at the barn and one was completely shredded. I have no idea how my horse managed that.🤷♀️

I loved shoofly. They protect my horse from fllies, they stay up and the quality is everything you would want. I even wash my horse when they were him, soaked them down scrubbed on them and rinse them. They were like new again. I could be a consumer reporter on the different brands , these are the best.
