We have been taking our dog to the vet to have her anal glands expressed every 3-4 weeks, for years. I tried for years to get our vet to issue punch cards for their dogs who are frequent anal gland clients, where every 8th or 10th visit would be FREE. The amount of money we have shelled out to take our dog in to have this done so frequently, is unbelievable! The vet always told me to try some canned pumpkin mixed into the dogs food which we used. Took about 10 days to see progress, and we continued the recommended dose for about 3 weeks.
Our dog who is super picky about any supplement eventually got tired of it, and we had to break the chews into smaller pieces and hide them in chicken meatball.
We continued to give him 1/2 dose every other day to maintain him, and that schedule worked for him.

Also so richtig habe ich an einen Erfolg nicht geglaubt, aber ich war es auch Leid alle paar Monate zum Ausdrücken der Analdrüse beim Tierarzt vorstellig zu werden. Ich kann jedoch sagen, bei meiner Hündin hat es nach 3-4 Wochen Erfolg gezeigt. Der Stuhl ist geformter, fester und das ständige Lecken am Po hat auch ein Ende … ich denke nun drückt sie mit der Verdauung das Sekret aus uns es ist alles gut .. hatte eine 60iger Packung gekauft, denke ich versuche es so langsam mit ausschleichen und gebe es nur noch alle 2 Tage. Die Drops werden hier mit Liebe gefuttert, riechen nach Karamell und sind nach Anbruch im Kühlschrank aufzubewahren.

My doodle had the grossest bottom, he was constantly licking and the saliva would dye his very light fur a brownish/red color. It was so embarrassing when people would ask me why his butt was so dirty and it was all from him licking it so much and scooting across the floor.

These work!!! I have a Bassett hound who all the sudden developed anal gland problem. It was bad! There were times where he would bleed his anal glands got so inflamed.
