So let’s just say guinea pigs are like semi automatic poop machines. Trying to keep up is like torture especially if you’re a clean freak. We’ve tried bedding that ended up all over the house. The washable flip mats were their own kind of nightmare. No matter how hard you try to scrape hay and gross off, your washing machine isn’t meant for that.
Enter these and pink fluffy unicorns dance on rainbows. They have stickies on the bottom and my daughter’s piggies never cracked the code to get under them. Ya know how they do. The poo sweeps up easily and when it’s time you roll it up and out it goes.
Sometimes it’s the little things….
Update: the piggies have a new hobby…biting holes in these things! So I found something way better. Rubber backed noodle bath mats. I know, I sound nuts. There is a seller on here that is advertising small ones as guinea pig mats. I fell for that and they are awesome. But I got smart really quickly and discovered these are nothing more than noodle bathmats with a rubber back. There’s a seller here that has them in the exact size of a Midwest cage 24×48. Just don’t get the ones with reviews that talk about the rubber back not lasting. The poop is easy to shake out and so is the dreaded cling on hay. They hold zero pig smell and are ultra absorbent (they are bathmats, duh). How do I know this? I realized my daughter hadn’t brought them down to be washed since I bought them two weeks before. I guess I was used to the disposables. I thought 2 weeks, prepare to gag. Two weeks and there was no smell whatsoever. I know, right?!!?! No need to wash them in a laundry bag because all the hay and poop shook out. I even got them in hot pink. There are lots of colors. I can’t believe freaking noodle bathmats are this good. The pigs love them. Make sure you get the ones that look like dreadlocks attached to a rubber back. No more paying 20 bucks a pop for the disposable ones I used to love and no screwing around with those U-Haul flip mats. Nirvana.

These cage liners are fantastic. They really do provide exceptional odor control and are incredibly absorbent.
I inherited my adult daughter’s guinea pig when she moved out on her own, and the scruffy little guy is my buddy. I don’t want him to have to sit there in a stinky environment. If anyone knows how smelly these dudes can get.. It’s funkadelic. This really makes a difference. They fit in the big critter condo thing my furry bff lives in perfectly (he’s got the big one!) and make cleaning up a breeze. Just thick enough to maybe give the orange guy a little softness to walk around on, coupled with his paper bedding. Great value for the price! I’ll keep on buying when I run out.

Cage liners saved time and made cleaning so much easier!
Only thing I would add are more sticky tabs to help hold it to the bottom of the cage.

We bought these along with a cheap 50-pack of the cheaper stuff to compare them. They look almost identical, and functionally they’re the same except for the extra adhesive patches on the bottom of these ones. They do the job as advertised, but so do the cheap ones. Save your money and get 3 or 4 times the liner with the others.

Wonderful liner! Reduced odor and amount of litter I needed to use. Just roll it up and toss. So much easier to keep the guinea pig cage clean.

I wanted something to make cleaning our Guinea pig cage easier, and I really liked the idea of disposable liners. We normally use washable fleece liners, but someone else was going to be caring for our pets while we went on a trip, and I didn’t want them to have to do laundry. I tried out the new liners before we left. I liked the sticky tabs on the underside which helped keep the liner in place. It actually stuck pretty well to the fleece liner in the cage. However, our Guinea pigs—we have two lively boys—were able to move it so that it no longer covered the whole cage bottom. Also, , one of them chewed a hole in it pretty quickly.
The liner probably helped a little with clean up and absorbing urine, but not as well as I had hoped. It probably would be better for pets that aren’t quite as active and mischievous as our Guinea pigs.

I use a rabbit cage for our 2 guinea pigs and this fits perfectly at the bottom of the cage for easy clean up. It arrived on time and just as described and great value for the money.

My Guinea pig might be the messiest creature to ever exist. He enjoys draining his water bottle onto the floor of his cage daily and mixes it with food or whatever else he can find (we’ve tried every type of water bottle and he does this with every one). We were initially using the absorbent fleece cage liners but our washing machine was getting clogged with fur and pieces of hay. So I switched to these, which has made things easier. These are very absorbent and could probably last a normal pig a week. I have to change mine daily because of his water habits, but it’s so much easier to deal with because you can just roll everything into a ball and toss it out. Just wish they were more affordable for my daily usage!
