Description
- Tiny Shrimp Net: Diameter: 2 inches; Pocket depth: 2 inches. The aquarium shrimp net is suitable for scooping shrimp, fry and baby fish. Perfect net for small fish tank or bowl.
- Fine Nylon Mesh: The well-woven nylon netting is really soft to touch. And it stretches naturally in the water without wrinkling. Effectively prevent injuries to the shrimp or delicate fish.
- Telescopic Handle: The stainless steel handle is 5.3 inches long when closed and 15.5 inches long when extended. The rod is stiff and uneasy to get bent or rusty. Easily reach deep into the tank without getting wetting.
- Versatile Use: The tiny fish tank net can securely catch or transfer small fish and shrimp. Also excellent for skimming debris, food residue or leaves from aquariums or small ponds to keep them clean.
- Easy to Store: The key ring at the end of the handle is designed for hanging. Simply clean the mesh and hang it through the ring in a cool and ventilated place after use.

Great net for using in my 15 Gal tank that is highly planted with lots of small fish and shrimp.

It’s very very tiny! Perfect for what I needed it for, scooping up Daphnia to feed my fish. It’s great for a small tank but if you’re looking for catching fish any bigger than a couple inches you’d need a bigger size. Use it for shrimp or microfauna, it’s perfect for that. It seems pretty decently durable my only issue is with the fact that it pulls out of itself and when you use it it gets all wet and you have to wipe it off several times because water gets stuck inside the tube, which can make it rust.

I love this little net to catch my fish in when I have to move them. The larger nets are more awkward to maneuver in the tanks unless you need a larger one for the size of your fish.

used it to catch algae in our fountain, perfectly small holes doesn’t let any get through

I had a few of the regular blue nets but this one is now my favorite
The fact that the scoop part stays open and doesn’t close in on itself makes it easy to catch and to release

One of my shrimp got into my filter at the back of my tank – I tried literally everything to get it out but could not catch it, and I was worried about killing it by accident.
In desperation, I bought this little net. Within 20 seconds I had caught the shrimp and put him back in the tank. If you have small shrimp or fish, there is literally nothing easier than catching them with this net. It’s small and maneuverable, plus telescopic.
My only caution would be that the part where the net attaches to the stick is thin metal and flimsy. If you bent it much at all, I’m positive it would break off.

Excellent to clean my water fountain

Best small net to maneuver in tiny tanks. Flows through water without hesitation. I was concerned about rust, but used it several times in both freshwater to catch fish fry & brackish water for brine shrimp. Just rinse at full extension, wipe net and dry thoroughly before closing handle.

This item popped up as I was searching Amazon for supplies to start raising Brine Shrimp Eggs.
As you can see from the photos I have some available ‘top of the tank’ space problems.
It’s been a pain working on a couple of my Nano Aquariums.
The ‘normal’ handle lengths on the nets I’ve purchased in the past have at times been an issue.
I’ve had to cut or bend the long handles down or get wet dipping into these tanks.
The telescoping handle feature seemed to be an answer.
I ordered the 2″ Round Net as part of my supply order.
Surprisingly soon after my order arrived I had a use for it in this tank.
My Pygmy Corydoras started breeding and I had to net them out after they finished.
It worked perfectly!
Later, after removing the Cory eggs, I was once again using it in this tank.
This time to move some Neocaridina Shrimp to another tank.
Again it worked perfectly.
The unit is extremely well made and the net soft and fine enough not to damage my ‘Nano’ Fish and Shrimps.
I will definitely be ordering more of these nets in different sizes and shapes.
I can see the telescoping ‘Standard Mesh’ nets getting a lot of use in my 55 and 29 Gallon Aquariums.

This is a great little net for catching shrimp, or making sure you don’t dump baby shrimp out while cleaning your tank.

4 star as not sure if its good that the netting if stiff compared to the softer one. Still does the job but again netting is stiff. If its supose to be stiff for shrimp catching then 5 star.
